A number of New Zealand agencies are collaborating to develop case studies on the benefits of the Better Rules approach. Agencies using the Better Rules approach include:
- Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)
- Department of Internal Affairs (DIA)
- Inland Revenue (IR)
- Land Information New Zealand (LINZ)
- Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI)
- Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE)
- Ministry of Social Development (MSD).
